per annum + allowance + 11.5% super - Hours of
work Monday - Friday: 5.00am – 1.00pm - Fitness

The Role
Reporting to the Operational
Supervisor Parks, this position works as part of the Parks cleaning program which
includes emptying of garbage bins, cleaning of shelters, BBQ’s, toilets, open
spaces and all other council areas. This position operates plant and is
responsible for maintaining a truck log book as well as assisting with truck
maintenance ie. washing body, cabin cleaning, fuelling and minor maintenance.
About You
You will demonstrate good verbal communication skills with an
ability to positively and effectively communicate with fellow workers and the
general public. You will be physically fit in order to carry out the required duties
of the position and you will be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and awareness
of working in a safe manner ensuring Workplace Health and Safety guidelines are
consistently observed and followed.
Essential Criteria
- Class MR Licence
- Previous cleaning experience cleaning public
areas, toilets and human waste - Ability to comply with the Occupational Health
and Safety Act - Ability to promote a positive image of Council
and its activities - Class C Drivers Licence
- WHS General Construction Work in NSW
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
