The Role

Reporting to the Coordinator Procurement, the purpose of this position is to support business units regarding Procurement, Tendering and Contract Management Operational Management Standards and associated procedures.

About You

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, and a high level of leadership skills and ability to influence others to achieve the desired outcomes. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team and meet organisational and legislative deadlines.

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant Procurement or other relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, and a Class C Licence
  • Demonstrated experience for 3 or more years in a similar role, including experience within contract administration and contract performance management
  • Proven experience relating to processes associated with Tendering and Quotations
  • Awareness of legislation applicable to procurement in local government
  • Proven knowledge of Australian Standard General Conditions relating to construction, consultancy and goods and other services
