Be part of the specialised team where you will lead the delivery of the social infrastructure that meets the needs of our local community. You will be providing leadership and professional advice on contemporary community infrastructure planning issues and the future development of community infrastructure projects. In addition to providing leadership and professional advice, you will support the annual review of the Community Infrastructure Plan and represent the City at workshops, seminars and other consultative forums.
Communication and engagement with the community is essential for this position, giving you the opportunity to utilise your well-developed communication and facilitation skills, when consulting with a wide range of stakeholders. A team player, you are able to lead, plan, organise and prioritise multiple projects. You have a demonstrated high level of understanding and knowledge of community development and/or infrastructure planning as well as knowledge of contemporary theories, trends and demographics in community, sport, recreation, culture and social development.
You must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Science, Project Management, Infrastructure Planning, Community Development or in a related discipline and associated specialised experience.
A current ‘C’ Class Drivers licence is essential along with a National Police Clearance.

- Tertiary qualification in Social Science, Project Management, Infrastructure Planning, Community Development or in a related discipline and associated specialised experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management theory and practice
- Demonstrated high level of understanding and knowledge of community development and/or infrastructure planning
- Experience in a strategic planning, facility management, or project management role delivering community development services, or community planning and / or infrastructure outcomes
- Experience in financial management and preparation of high level documentation
We are offering a gross salary of $103,919 per annum, and:
- 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
