  • Full-time, office-based role with no hybrid work arrangement
  • Convenient Rockdale location, close to public transport
  • $89,590.42 – $100,341.50 per annum plus superannuation

About the role

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the Council's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), OpenText Content Manager.

This role is responsible for championing, promoting, managing, and supporting the use of electronic records management within the organization, ensuring the security and integrity of Council records in compliance with the State Records Act and relevant guidelines.

You can also expect to:

  • Administer Council’s Electronic Document Records Management System to enable the efficient capture, storage, access, sentencing and disposal/archiving of Council records.
  • Maintaining and assisting in the review of the EDRMS and current processes for the dissemination of information, the business classification protocol and business rules for records capture, access, security, sentencing and disposal to enable a consistent records management approach across Council.
  • Provide advice, training, resources and information to Council business units to support good records management practices in the use of the EDRMS.
  • Coordinate the set-up of EDRMS super users to provide a first point of contact across Council business units to support staff with records management.
  • Monitor and report on performance and compliance with Council’s EDRMS protocols and controls to enable business improvements and optimal system use.
  • Liaise and work with external providers to support system enhancements and issue resolution.
  • Promote the positive and collaborative culture and values of the organisation through open, fair and transparent decision making and ethical, professional behaviour.
  • Work in collaboration with and assist the team, manager and other key stakeholders to achieve business unit goals, work requests, demands and Council priorities.

  • Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience
