Commercial Projects Officer

Make your mark and help the City deliver some exciting and challenging commercial and high profile legacy projects. Be part of continuing Shellharbour's reputation as a desirable place to live, work and invest!  We are seeking a highly experienced commercial specialist to work with our talented business teams to plan, manage, diversify and otherwise improve Council’s economic and social returns on investments. 

You will attract, support and deliver new business opportunities for Council that benefit our community by developing innovative initiatives, implementing strategic business plans, promoting new land development projects and return on investment assessments. You will help deliver a range of economic developments from support small business opportunities to major developments and investments.

This is a hands-on role that engages with the community through various networks and channels and will be the City's "front line" for economic development and prosperity related media, community, industry and commercial events.

Some exciting commercial projects are already underway and this role will be key for the successful delivery of these strategic and high profile opportunities.

• Up to 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time, with part time arrangements considered
• Commencing salary range from $98,485 - $108,736 per annum pro rata (dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
