Are you ready to kick-start an amazing career in Biosecurity? Under the guidance of experienced and supportive team, you will play a crucial role with assisting in Council's Biosecurity processes. This two-year traineeship will provide you with the opportunity to gain a Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management whilst gaining hands-on experience.
Working closely with the Manager and the Biosecurity Officer, you will have the chance to:
- Assist in attending inspections on public and private land in the company of Biosecurity staff.
- Assist with responding to telephone, email and counter enquiries, complaints and requests for information.
- Provide administrative support to the Manager of Planning and Regulation and the Biosecurity Officer.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Willingness to undertake training in Biosecurity related course
- High School Certificate or equivalent;
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and mobile phone usage.
