An opportunity has become available for a Corporate Planning and Performance Specialist to join our team at Georges River Council, based in Hurstville.
About the Role
Georges River Council is seeking to appoint a Corporate Planning and Performance Specialist who will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive corporate planning and performance reporting that supports the Georges River Council vision and Community Strategic Plan and encourages continuous improvement across the organisation.
What we Offer
- Permanent, Full time - 70 hours per fortnight
- Salary from $115,113.49 - $133,373.50 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation (dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

The Successful candidate will have
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing corporate performance frameworks, monitoring and reporting systems.
- High level knowledge and demonstrated skills in business improvement principles, methodologies and implementation.
- Demonstrated investigative and research skills.
- Experience in implementing service review programs.
- An ability to exercise critical thinking in the workplace and demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in writing to a range of audiences.
- Ability to provide work of a high quality within established timeframes and with minimal supervision.
- Experience in facilitation and negotiation with a range of stakeholders.
Desirable
- Knowledge and understanding of local government.
- Experience in the application of the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.
- Knowledge of business and quality excellence frameworks e.g. Australian Business Excellence Framework.
- Technical competence and experience using Content Manager, Pulse, TechnologyOne and InfoCouncil.
