About the opportunity

We are excited to announce a permanent part-time position (28 hours per week) within our Community Facilities team for an experienced Caretaker. 

We are seeking individuals with excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide top-notch customer service by responding to enquiries, bookings, viewings, and customer inductions at our various facilities across the City.
  • Support customers over the phone, in person, and online.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Computer literate in basic office applications and the ability to quickly learn corporate applications
  • Ability to work within a team environment and with minimal supervision.

Desirable:

  • Current class C driver’s Licence
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $33.4529 per hour
  • 28-hour working week
