    We are seeking a Water Services Operator to join our team. In this role you will be a part of a team that is at the forefront of delivering safe and reliable          water and sewer services to our Community.

As a Water Services Operator you will be responsible for operating and monitoring Council’s water treatment plant and network operations. This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a team to deliver reliable and compliant water services by applying your skills, knowledge and experience.

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.

The council is situated in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, four hours North West of Sydney, famous for its stunning landscapes and rich, highly productive land and is the perfect place to call home.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

Water Services Operator we offer a salary starting at $58,047 to $74,305 gross per annum plus superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the position.

This role you will be required to work a 7-day spread of hours, on call roster and perform overtime duties (as required). Award loadings and allowances will apply in addition to the base weekly salary.
