  • Salary $107,577 + 11.5% Superannuation
  • Based at Doncaster, Victoria (Hybrid Arrangement)

Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive local council in delivering a multi-year technology program. As part of the Enabling Projects team, you will play a key role in complex projects. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in performing a business analyst role within a complex operating environment, preferably in one or more areas including ERP, Corporate Systems, CRM, HRIS, Safety Management Systems or Finance.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management experience with all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and re-engineering business processes across a wide range of organisational areas.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst within the Enabling Projects team, reporting to the Program Manager, you will collaborate with staff across council to define project outcomes and benefits, gather and document business requirements and support the translation of these requirements into effective solution designs. Additionally, you will play a key role in testing and facilitating the acceptance of delivered solutions.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with hands-on involvement in all phases of end-to-end project delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in eliciting and documenting current business processes, defining new business processes and requirements and developing user stories, traceability matrices and process maps.
  • Sound experience in developing and re-engineering business processes across a wide range of organisational areas.
  • Proven experience in building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly, analyse and formulate options and guide stakeholders to make informed decisions and achieve desired outcomes.
