The Opportunity
As a Change Manager in the City of Perth, you will support the establishment and execution of organisational change management practices across a number of City-wide projects including technology, legislation compliance and capability uplift projects.
Working with project teams and internal stakeholders your focus will be to undertake critical change analysis that leads to the development and implementation of change plans to support the coordinated successful delivery of multiple City-wide, high-profile projects.
These change plans are required to drive various projects that represent significant advancements in the timely decision-making and effective and efficient delivery of our services.
Reporting to the Manager within our Project Management Office team, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Leading the creation and execution of the change management strategy, including communication, change management, learning and adoption schedules, and stakeholder management plans for a variety of organisation wide projects, and integrates these activities into project plans;
- Providing specialist advice to senior leaders and project managers on change capacity and all aspects of change management delivery;
- Developing and integrating a comprehensive change management framework to improve change capabilities throughout the lifecycle of projects; and
- Fostering collaborative and supportive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure high adoption rates.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Previous in-depth experience as a change manager in applying change management principles, methodologies and tools across multiple projects;
- Qualifications or certification in Change Management from a recognised body such as PROSCI;
- Proven experience in spearheading and advancing change initiatives across technology, people and processes ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, goals and plans; and
- Extensive experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders, influencing and gaining buy in.
