About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Team Leader Library Customer Experience to join our dynamic and innovative Library Services team. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective operation of Georges River Libraries through the provision of quality library services that satisfy the high expectations of its diverse customers.
What we Offer
- Permanent full time - 70 hours per fortnight
- Salary from $87,770.80 - $101,695.64 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation

The Successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Library and Information Science or equivalent
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrated experience in providing a quality customer focused service.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of a training programs for staff.
- Demonstrated analytical, time management, organisational, financial, project management and creative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising a team, including an ability to provide performance feedback, guide others through change and implement innovative approaches.
- Highly developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including effective negotiation, consultation and consensus building.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite as well as content management systems and technology in a public library or equivalent setting
Desirable
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (Class C).
- Leadership experience in a public library.
- Experience leading projects with a diverse and multicultural client base.
- Experience in troubleshooting library equipment including public access computers.
- Experience in marketing or promotion of Library services, events and programs.
- Ability to speak an identified community language such as Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Greek.
