We have an exciting opportunity for a PA to Manager Community and Early Learning Services to join our team in a fulltime, temporary capacity. (Till end Feb 2026)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Personal Assistant to provide high-level assistance, administrative support to the Manager Community and Early Learning Services to ensure the efficient delivery of operations and projects and liaise with a wide range of internal staff and external parties across the Community and Early Learning Services Business unit.
What We Offer
- Temporary, full-time – 70 hours per fortnight (Till end Feb 2026)
- Salary from $73,331.53 - $84,965.51 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation (dependant on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

What we are looking for
- Certificate III (3) in Business or Secretarial Administration or equivalent or demonstrated professional experience
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and experience
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and experience working effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated high level diary and correspondence management skills and experience
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills and experience
- Demonstrated high level skills and experience in delivering customer service
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite as well as content management systems and technology in a corporate or equivalent setting
- Demonstrated ability and experience in dealing with sensitive information
- Knowledge and understanding of the Government Child Care Subsidy
Desirable Attributes
- Tertiary qualification in Public Sector Administration or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of Hubworks, Provider Digital Access (PRODA) and Early Childhood Contract Management System (ECCMS), NSW Health information on immunisation programs
- Technical competence and experience using Content Manager (CM) and Technology One systems relevant to local government
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, update, and maintain a calendar of meetings, appointments, priorities and tasks for the Manager Community and Early Learning Services
- Monitor phone calls and correspondence on behalf of the Manager Community and Early Learning Services and prepare draft responses in accordance with Council templates and guidelines
- Gather data and prepare documents to support the operations and projects of Community and Early Learning Services business unit including project plans, presentations, memorandums, council reports, quarterly and annual reports and Councillor Information Bulletins
- Schedule and minute the meetings of Community and Early Learning Services business unit
- Ensure information and records of Community and Early Learning Services business unit are maintained, stored, and disposed of in accordance with Council polies and procedures
- Develop, maintain, and evaluate internal work systems and processes to ensure the efficient administration of Community and Early Learning Services business unit
