About the Role
As a Paralegal you will play a vital role in providing and administering legal services to Council. You will manage all paralegal tasks related to Court matters received or initiated by Council, coordinate all requests for legal services received from Council staff, provide legal and administrative support to our in-house solicitors to enable efficient and effective provision of legal services to Council, and you undertake special tasks or projects as allocated to you.
Key Requirements
- Completed / currently completing at least Certificate III in Legal Services through TAFE NSW or equivalent (graduate Solicitors will also be considered).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation and policy (preferably within a public sector environment)
- Demonstrated ability to undertake detailed and accurate research and analysis of legal issues
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate provision of paralegal services within a team environment.
Salary range commencing from $88,588.62 + superannuation + leaseback vehicle, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
