The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a productive individual to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Director and the Group and assist in delivering specific projects as required.
As Executive Assistant | Business and Governance, you will monitor and manage the Director’s calendar and diary to balance appointments, workload and customer service demands as well as arrange meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes for a range of internal and external meetings. You will act as first-point-of-call for enquiries related to the Director’s role and functions of the directorate.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a Certificate III in Business Administration, Local Government, Legal or similar equivalent qualification and has a current NSW Class C drivers licence.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Advanced knowledge and ability in use of Microsoft software packages including Excel and PowerPoint including a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.
- Working knowledge of Local Government procedures, practices and operational frameworks.
- Ability to plan and schedule own work and manage small projects.
- Advanced written and verbal communications skills, including demonstrated business report writing.
Benefits
This is a fixed term full time position working 35 hours per week for a period of eleven (11) months.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $84,731.97 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,461.40 per week base salary
- $168.06 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
