The role
We are seeking committed individuals with the desire to make a positive difference in our community. Becoming a permanent full time Pool Lifeguard at Revesby Leisure and Aquatic Centre means you will be responsible for pool supervision and actively enforcing and educating customers on the Royal Lifesaving “Keep Watch @ Public Pools Program”. 
 
As a Pool Lifeguard, no day is exactly the same! From supervision to working with your team and supporting Customer Service in the kiosk, merchandising and assisting Duty Managers with monitoring and maintenance of all filtrations, you will be a critical member of the Leisure and Aquatic Services Team.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Supervise, actively enforce and educate our customers on the Royal Lifesaving “Keep Watch @ Public Pools Program” and the Aquatics Terms and Conditions of Entry.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience through a high level of public relations, customer service, cleanliness, hygiene, safety and security within the Centre.
  • Respond to emergency and first aid scenarios as required.
  • Assist with the monitoring and maintenance of filtration, re-circulation and chemical dosing equipment to ensure its ongoing operation.
  • Carry out general functions in relation to customer service, kiosk and merchandise shop areas when required, including handling cash and Eftpos sales.

You will have:

  • RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
  • Apply First Aid Certificate. 
  • Working with Children Check Clearance.

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $60,220 - $64, 920 (Grade B, Step 1) + 11.5% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
