About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assessment Officer / Town Planner to join our progressive Development Assessment team in the North Ryde Office on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing a range of development applications of varying types and complexity (which may include subdivisions, dwellings, dual occupancy, medium density residential, and various retail, commercial and industrial uses, and an opportunity to work on larger scale development) that will assist you in progressing towards senior town planning roles in the future. About you
- Tertiary qualifications in town planning or equivalent which would qualify for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia
- Demonstrated experience in development assessment within NSW
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise work and multi-task to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Ability to dynamically adapt to work process improvements
- Current NSW Class C Driver Licence
Your commencing annual salary will range from $97,447.48 - $115,165.21 p.a. + superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
