About the opportunity
We have 2 x exciting permanent, full-time opportunities for self-motivated and experienced Project Management Officers within our Building Construction and Maintenance section.
This role is primarily responsible for administering building projects, solving building problems, preparing work schedules, preparing estimates and quotations, and assisting with Council’s asset management system.
Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in a building related field
- Extensive experience in the building maintenance area including dealing with and directing an in house labour force
- Current class C driver's licence.
Desirable:
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $2,008.22 per week
- 35-hour working week
- Leaseback vehicle
