Your Role as Senior Plumber

As a Senior Plumber, you will play an integral part of the team providing plumbing services for our esteemed Council assets, ensuring that our community enjoys reliable and efficient facilities. You will oversee the plumbing program, managing maintenance schedules and delivering both reactive and planned services that meet and exceed our quality and safety standards.

Your role will involve identifying and mitigating risks, managing emergency repairs, and providing expert guidance to your team. You will also play a key part in upgrades, renovations, and fit-outs for new projects, making a real difference in the infrastructure we provide.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach. You should be self-motivated and able to work independently while effectively collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Trade Certificate and Contractor Licence in Plumbing, Drainage & Gas-fitting.
  • Class C driver's licence and WHS Construction Induction (White Card).
  • Experience in coordinating a team and managing plumbing projects with accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.

Your ability to prioritise tasks and manage resources wisely will be essential in this role. If you have additional certifications such as EWP, Scaffolding, or Confined Spaces, we encourage you to apply.

  • Package: from $76,400.00 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Permanent full time hours : 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight
