The Position
The Customer Service Officer will work collaboratively with all Council departments and with our external stakeholders, to meet: Council’s objectives of customer engagement; achieving great customer experiences; and to promote a positive organisational culture.
Key Accountabilities
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service with a focus on responding to community needs
• Respond to customer enquiries by providing advice and resolutions tailored to the situation based on well-established procedures, precedents and guidelines
• Remain proficient with Council’s technologies and management systems to support service delivery
• Share accountability for the delivery of a broad range of customer service and library duties, often using initiative to identify tasks that need to be undertaken and ensure the customer service and library functions continue to operate effectively
About You
• You will have completed Year 12 or have equivalent knowledge gained through work experience
• Demonstrated administration experience including word processing and data entry
• Well developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with a particular emphasis on conflict resolution.
• You must also have a Current “C” class drivers’ licence

Our Region
