The Roles

Reporting to the Coordinator Project Delivery and based in Windsor NSW, the Project Manager positions lead Council’s Works Program to deliver new capital works projects on time and within budget. This includes design engagement, design review, administering contracts for design and construction of capital works (footpath, drainage, traffic facilities, roads, open space, playgrounds, amenities and waste projects).

There are currently multiple Project Manager opportunities available in the Project Delivery team including:

• 2 x permanent full-time positions
• 1 x temporary full-time position / 2-year duration
• 1 x temporary full-time position / 1-year duration

About You

To be considered for these positions you will have significant project management experience in the delivery of capex projects ranging from $250K to $20M. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You will be experienced in controlling a number of projects simultaneously to ensure resources are managed appropriately and projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Essential Criteria

• You will have tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Management or equivalent industry experience
• Proven project management skills in scoping, planning, budgeting, programming, documentation and supervision of consultants and contractors
• Delivery of capex projects ranging from $250k - $20M
• Strong computer literacy and experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• The right to live and work in Australia
• Class C Drivers Licence
• WHS General Construction Work in NSW
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
