The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a skilled individual to assist with development and implementation of asset management systems, policies, procedures and programs for all water supply, sewerage and recycled water assets (including sewerage treatment works).
As an Engineer in Water and Sewer Services, you will assist with development and supervision of specified projects as part of approved works programs including design development and contract administration. You will assist with preparation of statutory reports and the development of Quality and Environmental Systems in the areas of operations, maintenance, repair and construction, including associated policies, procedures, and systems monitoring and reporting.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds an Engineering degree or Advanced Diploma in an engineering discipline appropriate to the position and has well-developed water supply, sewerage and recycled water system knowledge, including relevant statutory requirements.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated ability in the use of Microsoft Office software, project planning software and spatial information software.
- Well-developed skills in the interpretation of detailed engineering plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems.
- Additional skills, knowledge and qualifications that may be applicable to this position, such as experience in planning, design and construction of water supply and sewerage infrastructure, experience in capital works provision, experience in asset management systems, other specialist training/qualifications or work experience.
Benefits
This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $113,530.64 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,958.10 per week base salary
- $225.18 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
- Allowances for the position available per week
