Council is seeking a Library Officer, who will be responsible for providing high level customer services to Library members and visitors to the Library along with providing general administrative support and assisting with Library programs to people of all ages in the community.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing direct services to members and visitors to the library.
- Undertaking in-depth research as required by customers using a range of catalogues, collections, and information resources.
- Assisting with routine enquires and assisting customers in the use of technology as required.

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.
The Council is situated in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, four hours North West of Sydney, famous for its stunning landscapes and rich, highly productive land and is the perfect place to call home.

Working with a passionate and engaged team. This role offers you the opportunity for you to be part of the Recreation & Community Services team. This Grade 4 position has a salary range from $33 -$42 per hour, plus superannuation, negotiable depending qualifications and experience.
