We are seeking an experienced and professional Customer Service Officer to support our Operations Team.

This role supports the operations team with all things admin. You will work closely with the current administration team and ensure work is executed in a timely manner.

Some of your core functions include:

• First point of contact for visitors to the Operations Depot
• Management of CRMS (Customer Requests and Complaint).
• Receives, interprets and disseminates customer requests to appropriate personnel.
• Create customer requests in the Shire's record system
• Provide general administration support to the Operations Team Coordinators and Supervisors as requested.
• Provides and develops standardised external communication to customers and stakeholders in line with the Shires guidelines.
• Develops and coordinates work procedures and processes relating to the role and adopts a continuous improvement focus to all tasks.
• Facilitates the timely delivery of information and resources for the Operations Team.
• Assists the Store person with the procurement of goods and services as required.
• Support the administration of meetings, agendas and minutes for team meetings and toolbox meetings as required.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria;

• Efficient keyboard skills, with high level computer skills in Microsoft suite.
• Financial record keeping skills, with accurate data entry ability.
• Excellent customer service skills and high attention to detail.
• High level verbal and written communication skills.
• Inventory and stock control skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• "C" class driver's licence.

In addition, the successful candidate would ideally demonstrate the following desirable criteria;

• Previous experience within a local government environment.
