The Opportunity

We have multiple opportunities at our Eden and Bega centres for compassionate individuals to provide early childhood education services including the design, documentation and implementation of programs for children and families. 

As an Early Childhood Educator (Diploma), you will undertake education and care activities and maintain children’s records as well as communicate with families about children’s programs, learning outcomes, health, well-being, safety and nutrition. You will build partnerships with each child and family.

About You

We are seeking individuals who have their Diploma in Children’s Services recognised by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and have a NSW Working with Children Check.

You will have the following skills and experience;

  • Theoretical understanding of how children grow and learn, with demonstrated skills in implementing an approved curriculum.
  • Knowledge of the National early childhood regulations, standards, approved curriculum and policies.
  • Demonstrated skills in building respectful relationships with children, families, staff and external stakeholders.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

These are permanent full time positions working 38 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $71,872.01 gross per annum, comprising of:

  • $1,239.60 per week base salary
  • $142.55 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
