The Opportunity
We have two (2) opportunities at our Bega centre for energetic individuals who will provide early childhood education services including the design, documentation, and implementation of programs for children and families.
As an Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III), you will support and educate all children within a service and actively contribute to the implementation and documentation of high-quality programs for children and their families, as well as contribute to the care and exchange of resources that enhance the learning program and the aesthetic environment. You will follow established protocols and procedures for responding to child protection issues, health, hygiene, and child well-being, including the provision of medication and first aid.

About You
We are seeking individuals who hold the following qualifications and licences:
- Certificate III in Children’s Services (or other equivalent recognised qualification), or willingness to obtain
- NSW Working with Children Check clearance
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Completion of approved child protection training
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.
- Sound skills in building respectful and equitable relationships with children, families, teams, and others in the community.
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe and stimulating environments that support children’s wellbeing and learning.
Benefits
These are permanent full time positions working 38 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $61,203.69 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,055.60 per week base salary
- $121.39 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
