Title: Return to Work Coordinator, Permanent - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $108222.23 to $125771.99 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

As part of the wider HR Team at Northern Beaches Council, the Recovery at Work Coordinator is responsible for proactively carrying out the day-to-day duties of the Recovery at Work Program in a self-insurance framework. This role is the primary support for workers, managers and other key stakeholders with respect to recovery through work.

Our opportunity :
The key focus areas of this role include: 
1)    Focusing on early intervention to facilitate and support a proactive “person centric” recovery at work process.
2)    Coordinating a worker's recovery through the development and management of tailored Recover at Work Plans to drive positive outcomes for the worker and meet organisational needs.
3)    Supporting workers to ensure their understanding and to ensure compliance with legislation; SIRA Standards of Practice and Council’s Recovery at Work Program.
4)    Supporting Council’s HR team in managing non-work-related injuries and illnesses and developing recovery at work plans.

About you :
We’re looking for a resilient and proactive, Recovery at Work Coordinator to join our dynamic team.  You’ll bring a customer centric, collaborative approach to a team passionate about making a difference to our employees and community.
Whilst based in Dee Why, the role is required to attend all Council buildings and depots across the Northern Beaches LGA to meet and engage with injured workers and their managers. Travel to and from case conferences is also required.
