Community Facilities & Programs Bookings Officer

 

  • Salary $68,114.80 to $79,012.96 p/a (pro rata) + super 
  • Permanent part time position – 21 hours per week

About the role

Ku-ring-gai Council is dedicated to providing exceptional services to our vibrant community. With a commitment to sustainable living and fostering a sense of connection, we are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Community Facilities and Programs Bookings Officer.

 

Reporting to the Manager Community Development, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for booking enquiries, transactions, and action requests. This includes uploading booking requests, processing payments, generating confirmation letters, and accurately receiving and processing applications and bookings
  • Manage a range of bookings and program enquiries ensuring courteous and professional service
  • Assist the Community Facilities and Programs Bookings Unit in delivering high-quality programs and services
  • Process bookings and program payments, including invoicing and receipting

 

Required qualifications, experience & skills:

  • Experience in community facilities or sport and recreation bookings and programs
  • Current Class C Driver’s licence
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams) and bookings systems/programs
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
