Hourly Salary: $31.32 - $34.14 (plus superannuation)

Job/Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Youth Hub Project Leader to coordinate and provide a range of contemporary and innovative activities. This includes the following:

  • Build rapport and work with young people and engage young people in programs and activities
  • Build community awareness of Youth Hub activities and increase usage by young people across the Orange region
  • Mentor and provide direction to volunteers and casual staff as required
  • When required, assist in maintaining records required for in-house reporting
  • Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of young people at all times, in line with Orange City Council policy and procedures.

So what do you need?

To be successful in these positions you will need:

  • Certificate III Community Services or relevant Youth Work qualification (or working towards)
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check Clearance
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
