The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an organised individual to lead staff involved in the operation, maintenance and construction of water and sewerage infrastructure to recognised health, environmental and Council standards.
As Water and Sewer Team Leader, you will control the operation, monitoring and maintenance of all facets of the area’s water and sewerage infrastructure as well as supervise construction of new water supply and sewerage infrastructure. You will undertake monitoring and reporting associated with water supply systems.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (NWP30215) or equivalent trade-based qualification, Certificate IV in Water Industry Operations, and has a current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated and comprehensive understanding of water supply and sewerage system operation, maintenance and construction practices.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a small team in a construction and maintenance task-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of a personal computer (or similar mobile computing device) and the associated use of Microsoft software packages including Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, telemetry, SCADA and GIS/mapping software programs.
Benefits
This is a permanent full time position working 38 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $88,523.86 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,526.80 per week base salary
- $175.58 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
