The Lilliane Brady Village, is a 44-bed residential aged care facility in far western NSW, owned and operated by Cobar Shire Council.
Our ideal candidate will be a qualified, motivated and highly experienced AHPRA Registered Nurse to oversee the care and compliance for the facility. We are looking for somebody who has the ability and commitment to manage the care services provided to residents of the facility, whilst supporting and inspiring the team to consistently deliver high quality, customer focused outcomes.
To be considered for this role, the candidate will have:
- Previous experience managing the provision of quality, person-centred clinical care in an aged care environment
- A hands-on approach to clinical care and leadership to build empowered staff and a positive culture
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of our success drivers including relationship management, quality and accreditation standards, occupancy requirements and AN-ACC assessment guidelines and principles
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills
- The willingness to cover shifts 'on the floor' in accordance with operational requirements to ensure roster compliance
- Adept computer literacy, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
To be successful in this role you will be highly organised, flexible, innovative and lead by example with your exceptional clinical skills. You will be approachable and have excellent time management. You will have a passion for coaching, mentoring, educating, and supporting our team to continuously improve resident care and facility outcomes.
This full-time position will be working a 38-hour week over a 19-day month (one RDO a month). We are offering a salary up to $130,000 (dependent on skills and experience), plus relocation assistance, superannuation and applicable allowances in accordance with the Nurses' (Local Government) Residential Aged Care Consolidated (State) Award.
