This role offers the opportunity for you to be part of a competent, high- performance team, along with opportunities for ongoing training.
As the Project Manager, you will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver a range of projects from concept through to handover, inclusive of seeking and management of grant funding.
You will be responsible for:
- The development and implementation of a project management framework across the organisation.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Leading the investigation, design, estimating and procurement processes for projects to deliver Council’s objectives.
- Typically, the value of the projects you will be responsible for will range from $500K up to $7M.

ABOUT US
The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.
The council is situated in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, four hours North West of Sydney, famous for its stunning landscapes and rich, highly productive land and is the perfect place to call home.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
- A competitive salary between ranging from $81,541 to $104,379 gross per annum (dependent on experience, skills and qualifications) with a 3% Award increase to be applied to this pay rate effective in July 2025.
