The Role

Reporting to the Coordinator Open Space Operations and based from Wilberforce, the primary function of this position is to clean streets, paths, cycle ways, car parks and other areas driving a mechanical street sweeper or manually as required.

Hours of work will be between 5.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday.

About You

You will have prior experience in a similar position and you will have strong desire to learn, ability to work as part of the team, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a safe manner that follow WH&S policies and procedures.

Essential Criteria

• Class MR Drivers Licence
• Experience driving trucks
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
• Physically fit to suit various functions of the role
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW

Desirable Criteria:

• Traffic Controllers and Traffic Management Certificate
• Confined Spaces Entry
• Road Roller Licence
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate
