Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Library Traineeship at our Castle Hill Library. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job whilst studying a Cert III in Library and Information Services. This role will see you learning and delivering a range of Council and Library services, assisting customers with enquiries, processing payments and transactions while working in a team environment.
Candidates who have completed a traineeship or qualification above Certificate II in Library Studies or associated fields are NOT eligible to apply for this position.

What this role looks like:
• Deliver accurate information to customers in a timely manner, enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Effectively and efficiently process a range of applications, transactions and payments for both Council and Library.
• Undertake day to day operations in the Library Branches as rostered including evenings and weekends.
• Participate in the delivery of Library programs and activities.
What are we seeking in applicants:
• Must have full Australian working rights to be considered for this position
• HSC or equivalent
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
• High Level written and verbal communication skills

Temporary up to 18 months, full time, Salary: from $384.30 - $780.40 per week (dependent on how many years out of school) + Superannuation + free on-site undercover parking and rostered days off, Aquatic and Fitness membership discounts and free Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
