Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of a small innovative organisation seeking to make a positive difference in the local region?
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Planning and Resilience Policy Coordinator to lead the delivery of advocacy programs and provide policy advice with a focus on urban planning and resilience across our member councils.
About the Role
This is your chance to:
- Drive regional initiatives that improve liveability and boost the resilience of our communities.
- Contribute to the delivery of projects that support councils’ sustainability and Net Zero targets.
- Build partnerships between councils, government, and industry to shape urban planning solutions.
- Influence Federal, State and regional policies and programs.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the planning and resilience sector
- Deep understanding of NSW and local government urban planning regulatory framework and/or resilience.
- Proven success in relationship building, negotiation, and cross-organisational collaboration.
- Strong project management expertise with a focus on evidence-based policy development.
- Experience preparing detailed reports, submissions, and funding applications.
What we Offer
Our offices are located in Lane Cove close to shops, cafes, an aquatic centre and a gym. You will also enjoy flexible work practices aimed at achieving work/life balance.
Full-time annual salary up to $140,000 + superannuation, (dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate). Pro-rated if part-time is negotiated.
