North Sydney Council administers the North Sydney local government area on Sydney’s picturesque lower North Shore. Our 400 employees look after 77,000 residents spread across 10 square kilometres of land on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour providing spectacular harbour views, beautiful parklands and a bustling CBD. The role 

Are you passionate about sports turf and outdoor spaces? Do you have what it takes to lead a high-performing team that keeps premier sporting ovals in top condition? We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Team Leader to take charge of the maintenance and care of North Sydney Oval 1 and 2 — two of our most iconic and well-used sporting venues.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of a dedicated team maintaining grounds that support both organised sports and community recreation. You'll oversee daily operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards—aligning with Council's goals of service excellence and continuous improvement.

Salary from: $75,283 to $89,892 per annum + 11.5% superannuation + $1,000 pa transport allowance + Uniform Provided

76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off
