The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an organised individual to provide day-to-day operational support and oversight for the operations of the BVCCC.
As a Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre Venue Assistant, you will assist with all BVCCC venue enquiries and operations and develop and maintain relationships with users of the BVCCC. You will also research markets to develop and implement innovative approaches to improve or expand events and identify opportunities for additional events.

About You
We are seeking an individual who has a Certificate III qualification relevant to the position and has demonstrated three (3) years’ ‘hands-on’ experience in all aspects of venue administration including functions, bar operations, meetings and oversight of casual staff.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, organisational and time management skills.
- Level of physical fitness to be able perform operational tasks including venue set up and pack down.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft office programs and venue management software.
- Additional skills, knowledge and qualifications that may be applicable to this position, such as completion of a food hygiene/handling course, higher qualifications, specialist training or work experience.
Benefits
This is a permanent, full time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $77,293.14 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,333.10 per week base salary
- $153.31 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
