About the opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced FOGO Customer Experience Project Lead to join our team on a term contract, full-time basis for up to 14 months. 

This role is primarily responsible for the execution of the FOGO customer experience plan.

The plan is key to our success in managing customer touch points when we deliver the biggest waste services change to our community in June 2025.

The project lead will provide support to identified stakeholders to implement the key actions of the FOGO customer experience plan. 

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Degree in marketing, business, computer science or information systems with extensive management experience; or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, VET business, training and/or experience managing business to customer relationships
  • Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering multiple strategic projects applying different approaches
  • Proven experience improving business processes across complex teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of initiative & ability to self-manage with a focus on achieving project outcomes
  • Ability to work efficiently within agreed timeframes, managing multiple projects and priorities concurrently
  • Class C drivers licence.

Desirable:

  • Background in Customer service/support environment
  • Local government experience
  • Experience with customer experience change management.

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $1,796.10 per week
  • 35-hour working week 
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
