About the role

Are you passionate about aquatic safety and leading a dynamic team?

We are seeking casual and full-time Facility Duty Officers to oversee the day-to-day operations of our aquatic facilities at Cannington and Riverton Leisureplexes. If you have a passion for aquatic safety, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high professional standards, these roles are perfect for you!

A snapshot of your new role:

  • Supervision of rostered Leisureplex staff while on shift
  • Responding promptly to incidents and emergencies
  • Facilities maintenance, ensuring safe, clean and healthy aquatic facilities
  • Providing a great customer experience to patrons
  • Monitoring facility operating systems, including pool plant, filtration and heating systems
  • General administrative duties relating to aquatic operations

How you will thrive in this role:

  • Experience supervising staff in an aquatics or recreation centre environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pool plant operations
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, including handling emergency situations
  • Exceptional communication skills and able to interact confidently with a range of stakeholders
  • Current Pool Lifeguard, Group 1 Pool Operator and Provide First Aid Certificates
  • Current Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
  • LIWA Accreditation
