Education and Care Services is responsible for the delivery of professional, high quality childcare services and educational programs in the Campbelltown local government area. We provide care to children aged 0-12 years and operate according to Early Childhood Education and Care National Regulations and the National Quality Standards and Framework.
Positions available:
- 4 x Certificate III or Diploma Trainee position - temporary full time, 38 hours per week
Certificate III positions are temporary for up to 18 months, whilst Diploma positions are temporary for up to 24 months whilst completing the qualification. Applicants for the Diploma role must already possess a Certificate III (or equivalent)
The traineeship:
Child safety is absolutely paramount in our education and care settings. During the traineeship you will work towards refining your skills in:
- Working as a team to provide a safe, welcoming environment.
- Interacting with children in a caring and positive way.
- Creating meaningful interactions and engagement with a child whilst supervising a larger group.
- Using initiative and being flexible to respond to children’s needs, continuously adapting and reprioritising.
- Assisting with planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate individual programs.
- Professionally communicating with and developing relationships with families, providing high quality customer focused service.
Successful applicants will be required to complete the components of their studies, as well as on the job training.
