We’re in the lookout for a dedicated Construction Worker to assist with maintaining and building our footpath and shared path network. Your work will directly impact the community by improving the safety and accessibility of walking and cycling routes. If you have experience as a Concreter or Brick Paver, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing

  • Annual maintenance and construction programs of the City’s footpath network
  • Concrete works including footpaths, kerbing, setting-up formwork and concrete finishing
  • Daily planning and safety discussions
  • Operate power tools, plant, and equipment with confidence
  • Operate Medium Rigid vehicles, including cleaning and basic maintenance
  • MR license required (or willing to obtain within 6 months, funded by the City - subject to applicant possessing a manual car licence).
  • White card and satisfactory National Police Certificate required (within 6 months validity).

If you have prior experience in construction work, a manual license and are able to work collaboratively and safely in a team environment, this role could be perfect for you!
