Georges River Council is seeking a self-motivated, customer focused person to join the Parking Team as a Parking Officer.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work efficiently and operate effectively within a strong Parking Team dynamic. You will undertake parking enforcement duties, in accordance with relevant legislation and Council's Standard Operating Procedures, with an overall view to promoting legal parking practices within the Georges River Council Area.

 

What We Offer

  • Permanent, Full-Time, 76 hours per fortnight with Rostered Day Off (RDO)
  • Salary from $64,674.67 - $74,935.07 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation (dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

 The successful candidate will have

  • Extensive experience in a customer facing or customer service-related roles
  • Ability to solve problems through consultation and decision making
  • Accurate written and strong verbal communication, including an ability to write concise and accurate reports
  • Sound negotiation, conflict resolution and mediation skills
  • Sound computer literacy including Windows, Word and Smart phone systems
  • NSW Class C Drivers Licence
  • Physical mobility in order to meet the requirements of the position and work outdoors in all-weather conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and follow reasonable work directions in an accurate and timely manner.
