Title: Manager, Transport & Civil Infrastructure Assets, TRP Contract - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week

The Transport & Civil Infrastructure Business Unit provides a range of maintenance and delivery relating to road assets, traffic management and street lighting; and infrastructure related to parking system assets. It provides timely and accurate advice and users better practice methods and procedures while developing new and innovative solutions to problems in a cost effective and environmentally sustainable manner. The Transport & Civil Infrastructure Business Unit delivers the following services:

• Maintenance & Construction of Civil Infrastructure
• Traffic and Transport Planning
• Asset Management & Planning
• Community Transport, Parking, Fleet and Stores
• Business Operations

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include: 

1. Lead the Transport and Civil Infrastructure Assets – Planning, Design and Delivery team on a strategic and day-to-day basis
2. Co-ordinate and lead the effective management of Council's asset portfolio including delivery of new assets, timely renewal of failed or underperforming assets, and ongoing maintenance and inspection cycles that ensure service levels are maintained or improved
3. Develop, implement and review Council's Asset Management Plan and integration with the Long-Term Financial Plan
4. Oversee the timely, risk appropriate and accurate provision of referral responses to development applications and planning proposals.
