The role

Are you an experienced Early Childhood professional looking for a new challenge? We currently have an exciting and unique opportunity for three Diploma qualified Childhood Educators to join our Children’s Services Team.
Reporting to the Director Children's Centre, you will play an important role in supporting the centre to maintain a high-quality standard of education, care and provide quality learning experiences for young children.

 

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensure compliance with the Early Education and Care National Law and Regulations, including the National Quality Standards, at all times.
  • Assist in the implementation of an innovative and reflective early childhood education program that is reflective of the principles, practices and outcomes of the National Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team through shared learning, a positive attitude, and sound communication skills
  • Develop and maintain meaningful, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, community members, management and other relevant professionals; and collaborate to provide an appropriate curriculum based on each child's strengths, needs and interests.

You will have

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Capability to Identify and Respond to Children & Young People at Risk of Harm.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate that includes Asthma & Anaphylaxis training.
  • Experience providing quality learning experiences and creating enriching environments for young children.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Effective communication skills.

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $69,728 per annum (Grade D, Step 1) + 11.5% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
