Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.

SWIMMING INSTRUCTOR Casual (no formal swimming qualifications required; training will be provided to the successful candidate)

The Role; As the Swimming Instructor you will have the drive to implement and deliver quality swimming and water safety lessons in a safe and friendly manner in accordance with the GRALC Learn to Swim program. The instructor will participate in the relevant training opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge

Our students are the heart of this school and what motivates us everyday. The preferred candidate will be mindful of each students' growth and while also striving to the best that they can be.

  • You are flexible with your availability, shifts times below;

Mornings   - 9:00 to 12:00 – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 

Afternoons - 3:30 to 6:30 - Monday to Friday:

  • You are fun loving, enjoy working with children of all ages and have great communication skills

Qualifications you need:

  • Working with Children Check Clearance Number and current CPR certification. Please include copies of all relevant licences and qualifications with your application.

Salary and conditions: Commencement ordinary hourly rate $29.6157 plus 25% casual loading, plus superannuation, Monday to Sunday and penalty rates for any weekend work (Grade 5).

Special conditions: This position is designated as a child-related position. It is an offence under NSW Legislation for a person convicted of a serious sex offence to apply for this position.
