Join our team as Senior Resource Recovery Programs Officer and become a pivotal force in driving waste and resource recovery programs for the community and working with the Resource Recovery Team towards the introduction of FOGO! You’ll be key in the implementation of Council’s Resource Recovery Delivery Program and the development and delivery of waste and resource recovery strategies, policies, projects, programs, and activities. What this role looks like:

• Undertake projects identified in adopted plans such as The Hills Shire Plan.
• Actively seek and apply for grant funding relating to waste and resource recovery.
• Implement the Resource Recovery Delivery Program and develop future Delivery Programs.
• Assist with overseeing the implementation and ongoing management of Council’s FOGO service.
• Develop a resource recovery program schedule and deliver educational programs, activities and projects.

What are we seeking in our new team member:

• Positive and engaged team member.
• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environment or similar field.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and developing strategies and programs.
