Title: Food Services Program Officer (Meals on Wheels), Temporary - Full-time Role (to June 2025), 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $67153.79 to $78043.57 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Our Opportunity: 
The key focus areas of this role include: 

  1. Manage the efficient and effective coordination of meal delivery to clients in their own home, community lunches, and social outings to support clients to live independently and provide community connection.
  2. Manage stock levels for the operation of the service, to ensure service to clients is always available.
  3. Provide ongoing client administration and support through the intake process and maintain strong relationships to ensure the service meets clients requirements and expectations. 
  4. Assist with the management of volunteers to ensure service delivery is efficient and on-time.
  5. Contribute to the review of service procedures and identify actions through continuous improvement that will improve efficiency and the customer experience.
  6. Ensure food handling procedures are in accordance with safe food handling practices and WHS guidelines to protect the health and wellbeing of clients and volunteers.

 

About You:

We’re looking for a dynamic and committed in-home aged care services professional to join our Social Planning and Services team. As the Food Services Officer working in the Meals on Wheels program, you’ll bring aged care sector knowledge and food services experience to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
