About The Role
As a Georges River Council Early Childhood Educator, you will collaborate with your team to provide children with meaningful and enriching educational experiences. You will play an active and engaged role, ensuring that high-quality education and care is implemented within the service and the community.
You will recognise the vital role that building strong relationships with families has on children’s learning and development, ensuring families feel valued and involved in their child’s education.
Understanding that each child’s voice is essential in decision-making processes will guide your approach. By actively listening to children and incorporating their ideas and voices into learning experiences and decision-making, you will empower them and foster a sense of belonging.
We believe in taking a holistic approach to children’s learning, and as such, educators are actively involved in cross-collaboration across services, planning incursions and excursions, purchasing resources and materials for children, and consulting on programs and routines.
