The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to support the Council Stores team in the provision of daily store operations and delivery functions for Bega Valley Shire Council.

As Stores Trainee, you will assist with data entry for all inventory activities as well as perform stocktakes and audits. You will act as first line customer interface for all Stores enquiries and requests.

About You

We are seeking an individual who has completed their Higher School Certificate and has a current NSW Class C Drivers Licence or Provisional Drivers Licence.

You will have the following skills and experience;

  • Working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to perform data entry accurately.
  • Intermediary level of written and verbal communication.
  • Skills in being organised and working to a schedule.

Benefits

This is a fixed term full time position working 35 hours per week for a period of twelve (12) months.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $46,575.33 gross per annum, comprising of:

  • $803.30 per week base salary
  • $92.38 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
