ADD VALUE - THE ROLE
The Event Set-up Assistant is a key support for the operation of the Civic Centre and other off-site events. The role is responsible for setting up and packing down chairs, tables and event décor and basic cleaning and tidying. From time to time, it involves assisting event crews with the set up of off-site events.
An understanding of Work Health and Safety with demonstrated knowledge and ability in safe manual handling along with basic computer skills is required for this role.
This position is offered on a casual basis and requires flexible working hours including weekends.
Remuneration package for this position is based on GRADE 1 of the salary system which equates to a base hourly rate of $32.24 - $36.27 inclusive of casual loading plus 11.5% superannuation.
